Terms of Service

VRCAnalytics is an independent project not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by VRChat Inc. "VRChat" is a trademark of VRChat Inc.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VRCAnalytics (“the Service”), operated by Redacted based in the Czech Republic. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

VRCAnalytics provides analytics for VRChat worlds: a Unity beacon package that fires events from your published worlds, an API that ingests them, and a dashboard that visualises them. We may also expose public discovery pages backed by VRChat's public API.

2. Eligibility and account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (mirroring VRChat's terms).
  • You're responsible for keeping your password and world keys confidential.
  • One account per person. You may not create accounts to circumvent suspensions or limits.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Send fraudulent or fabricated beacon traffic to inflate analytics.
  • Use the Service to track worlds you do not own or have authorisation to track.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service.
  • Scrape or systematically harvest data from public pages beyond reasonable use.
  • Use the Service to violate VRChat's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or harassing purposes.

4. Tracking other people's worlds

You may only register and track VRChat worlds you own or have explicit authorisation to track. Our build-time binding requires the VRChat wrld_ ID, which only the actual world author can publish under VRChat's pipeline; tampering with this binding violates these Terms.

5. Player data and your obligations as a controller

When your tracked world fires beacons, the players in that world become data subjects whose data you instruct us to process. Under GDPR you act as data controller and we act as data processor; this relationship is governed by our Data Processing Addendum, which is incorporated into these Terms. You agree to:

  • Disclose to your world's visitors that the world has analytics enabled, where required by applicable law.
  • Obtain any consent required by your jurisdiction.
  • Forward player data-subject requests (deletion, access) to us at legal@vrcanalytics.com.

6. Plans, fees, and changes

The Service currently has a free plan. Paid plans may launch later. We will notify you in advance of any pricing or material plan changes that affect your account.

7. Intellectual property

  • The Service (code, design, branding) is owned by us.
  • Your data — your worlds, the analytics derived from them, content you upload — remains yours.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your data solely to operate the Service.

8. Service availability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The free plan has no service-level agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Czech and EU law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (zero on the free plan).

10. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion we remove your data per our retention policy (30-day audit window).
  • We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, after notice where reasonable.
  • Severe violations (fraud, abuse, illegal activity) may result in immediate termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved by direct contact at legal@vrcanalytics.com. If unresolved, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Czech courts. Consumers retain their rights under mandatory consumer-protection laws of their country of residence.
