Pulse & public pages

What the world sees: your public page, Pulse score, and the weekly leaderboards.

Your world's public page

Every active registered world gets a public page at vrcanalytics.com/world/your-world-id, built entirely from beacon data:

  • Players online — a rolling 24-hour chart at 15-minute resolution, plus the live count on browse cards
  • Visits · 7d — beacon-measured visits over the last seven days
  • Pulse — your activity score (hover the ? on the tile for the breakdown)

Visitors can hit Save to bookmark your world (stored only in their own browser — no account involved) and Download image to grab a stats share card. That card is a great link to post when you ship an update.

Beacon-truth only

Public pages for registered worlds never show VRChat's heat or favorites counters — those refresh on VRChat's schedule, not yours. Everything on your page comes from your beacon, measured the same way every hour of every day.

Pulse

Pulse replaces VRChat's opaque heat for registered worlds — and unlike heat, the formula is public:

  • Visits over the last 7 days, with recent days weighted more (a smooth decay — about five-day half-life)
  • Multiplied by a stickiness factor: longer average visits boost the score up to 2×
  • Traffic flagged as suspicious never counts — a script can't inflate a ranking

Pulse ranks registered worlds in the Trending and New Hits sections. It decays naturally: a world nobody visits drifts back to zero within a week or so.

Weekly Charts

The welcome page hosts two leaderboards that reset every Monday. They deliberately never mix measurement systems:

  • VRChat — new worlds: worlds published in the last 14 days, ranked by favorites gained during the week (VRChat's live traction signal)
  • Beacon worlds: registered worlds ranked by beacon-measured visits within the week. This board stays closed until at least 3 beacon worlds record visits in a week — a two-row chart isn't a chart

Anyone can download either board as a share image — charting is meant to be bragged about. Landing on the beacon board twice in a row means your world genuinely out-grew the field two weeks running.
